Objective
The objective of JCARME is to serve the needs of the mechanical engineering community by acting as the focus for the communication of research results, reviews of progress and discussions of issues of interest to those in this field.
Types of paper
Types of paper Contributions are classified as research papers, review articles and technical note. Research papers should be a record of original research. Review article and technical note are also published.
Formatting requirements
All manuscripts must contain the essential elements needed to convey your manuscript, for example Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusions, and if needed Acknowledgement and Conflict of Interest. Please ensure all figures, tables and supplementary data should be embedded and included in the main manuscript file.
Submission declaration and verification
Submission of an article implies that the work described has not been published previously (except in the form of an abstract or as part of a published lecture or academic thesis), that it is not under consideration for publication in any other journal, that its publication is approved by all authors. To verify originality, your article may be checked by the originality detection software.
Language
Please write your text in English (American or British usage is accepted, but not a mixture of these). Unintelligible English is a valid reason for rejection.
Submission
Submission to this journal is all electronic. Manuscripts should be submitted via our website: jcarme.srttu.edu. Please send the word file format as the main file and the PDF format as supplementary file.
The text should be in two-columns format. Keep the layout of the text as simple as possible. Do not embed "graphically designed" equations or tables, but prepare these using the word processor's facility. To avoid unnecessary errors you are strongly advised to use the "spell-check" and "grammar-check" functions of your word processor. For review process, double space text with Times New Roman 12 is required.
A Graphical Abstract is a single, concise, pictorial and visual summary of the main findings of the paper. This could either be the concluding figure from the article or a figure that is specially designed for the purpose, which cotains the content of the article for readers at a single glance.
The Graphical Abstract will be displayed in online search result lists, the online contents list and the online article.
The preferred file types are TIFF or JPEG
Single-Blind Peer Review Guidelines
Journal of Computational and Applied Research in Mechanical Engineering (JCARME) uses single-blind review, which means that only the reviewers are anonymous. Reviewers know the authors’ names and backgrounds, but authors don’t know those of the reviewers.
Authors’ inquiries
Authors can trace their submitted paper through JCARME website on author’s login section at http://jcarme.sru.ac.ir/
